Timber-lee employs over 30 full-time employees who have the desire to serve Jesus Christ in the unique ministry of Christian Camping. Throughout the year, many seasonal and part-time employees assist in meeting the needs of our guests. During the summer youth camp season, staff numbers increase by over 120! Employees come from a variety of geographical areas, regardless of race, color, sex, age, national origin, handicap, or veteran status. Timber-lee Christian Center is an evangelical, not for profit camping ministry.

Dining Room Assistants -Daytime shift and evening shift (separate positions) beginning late summer or early fall. Click here for a full position description.
Science Education Center Custodian -Cleaning can be done in the evenings, at night, or early in the mornings before 8:30 a.m.
Housekeeping Assistants -Monday-Wednesday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to noon with a possibility of additional hours. Position will begin late summer or early fall 2010. Click here for a full position description.

Part-time status is for up to 30 hours a week. Hours may vary and are not guaranteed. Insurance benefits, paid time off/holidays/vacations, meals, and housing are not included.

Come spend a portion of your summer (mid May through mid September) serving at Camp Timber-lee. There are opportunities for everyone of reasonably good health including:
Interested persons need to provide his/her/their own self-contained camping equipment to use on select reserved sites at Timber-lee’s Cedar Cove Campground during the volunteer period. (Sewer, electric hook-up, water hook-up, and public showers available.) No pets allowed.
Volunteers need to be able to commit to a four-to-six-week period of time, four days a week, and 24 hours or more per week. The schedule will be 8:00-10:00 a.m.; 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; 1:30-3:30 p.m.) Duties and schedules will vary and are established by Timber-lee depending on the needs of the camp, staff, and volunteers.

Therefore, we are no longer accepting summer applications. We will begin processing applications for summer 2011 in early December 2010.
